Vice President of Finance, Altman Browning Co.
She has more than 25 years of experience in operations for technical engineering and manufacturing companies, financial forecasting, clinical research, marketing, sales, and contract negotiation. She played a central role in overseeing one of the first successful cleanups of a Superfund site in the Northwest. Kay has served as a regulatory compliance liaison for SHE America's semiconductor wafer manufacturing operations and developed and managed quality controls for the City of Portland's water distribution system. Altman Browning Co. recently founded Home Dialysis Plus and is working closely with OSU Engineering faculty researchers to develop a portable kidney dialysis system.
In addition to her OSU degree, Kay holds a degree in medical dietetics from the University of Missouri. She has served as president of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Columbia Pacific Division, and is currently serving on the OSU College of Engineering Advisory Board.
